After its regional debut at the prestigious Dubai International Motor Show last year, it was only a matter of time before the 2018 Cadillac XTS made its regional debut. That day has finally arrived as the executive sedan is now available across the Middle East.
Now in its seventh year in production, the new 2018 Cadillac XTS brings a refreshed front and rear end along with a range of new interior palettes and trim colours; this includes the Platinum exclusive Maple Sugar with Jet Black. A new front grille dominates the front end with LED headlights flanking either side with LED taillights highlighting the rear end.
XTS Platinum V-Sport models are also available and take the XTS experience to a whole new level. With its unique twin-turbo engine and all-wheel-drive system, the model is equipped with a leather-wrapped cockpit, microfibre suede headliner and premium wood trim highlighting the steering wheel, instrument panel, door panels and centre console.
The 2018 Cadillac XTS can be had with two distinct engines. Standard models are fitted with a 3.6-litre V6 rated at 304 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque. A more powerful twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 is available with an extra kick; 410 horses and 500 Nm of torque. Both are mated to a six-speed automatic with manual shifting modes.
2018 Cadillac XTS options
Cadillac is synonymous within the car realms a premium luxury brand, and the XTS proudly carries on the tradition. As standard, the saloon is equipped with Brembo front brakes, 19-inch alloys, adaptive remote start, next-generation Cadillac User Experience (CUE) infotainment system, an eight-speaker Bose premium sound system and an updated chassis with improved ride comfort.
As for cargo space, the 2018 XTS can hold up to 509 litres or up to five suitcases.
