In case you missed it; 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class

Revealed two weeks ago in Detroit, the 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class enters a new generation with a familiar look, new technology and a few more tweaks here and there.

G Wagen fans will immediately notice the new headlights flanking either side of the front grille, but there’s more to the exterior than meets the eye. The rear lights are also new as are the wheels and the indicators bolted either side of the bonnet are slimmer.

If you happen to pick up a tape measure and measure the dimensions of the 2019 Mercedes G Class, you’ll find its longer, wider and taller compared to current models.

Inside, the cabin has grown to accommodate additional legroom for rear passengers. The dual 12.3-inch screen setup makes the jump from the E and C Class models along with a redesigned centre console and a new steering wheel featuring touch sensitive buttons. For those who prefer the traditional analogue dashboard cluster, Mercedes offers customers dials instead of a large digital display.

The three independent differentials returns along with an updated suspension unit and a low-range gearbox.

Along with the exterior and interior highlights, the 2019 G550 will roll out of the factory with a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine producing 416 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque.

Will there be a 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class 63?

The 2019 Mercedes Benz G Class is expected to enter the market by the end of 2018 with prices to be announced closer to the date. We’ll get our first look at the new G 63 at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

However, the V12 G 65 G Wagen won’t be returning, but rumours are hinting towards an S variant packing an extra kick.

Seeing as their still a few months before the new G-Wagen arrives, why not check out new Mercedes Benz G-Glass and used Mercedes Benz G Class for sale in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Sharjah.
