With the R8 Audi RWS already unveiled just last month in Frankfurt, Audi appears to have another ‘variant’ on the way, but what could this one be?
Spotted in Europe, this R8 Audi looks identical to every other R8 available in the market right now. However, there is some camouflage covering the rear end.
There is a fresh set of alloy rims adoring each corner, but that rear end has something captivating about it.
Well, for a start, there are larger tailpipes sticking out which happen to be visible and underneath those annoying black and white swirls appears to be a larger rear diffuser. Just above that and just below the lights, an extended mesh grille is prominently on show to allow hot air to escape.
But what does this all mean?
With additional cooling properties round back, this R8 Audi could be an enhanced version of the model and could bare the R8 GT badge.
As for its drivetrain, there are two choices here. Either this one is fitted with the traditional Quattro system or the newly announced rear-wheel drivetrain.
Whichever one it is, we can’t wait to see what Audi has in store for us!
R8 Audi power
Current R8’s boast a 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine rated at an impressive 600 horsepower in plus trim. What engine lays beneath this R8 Audi’s exterior has yet to be revealed, yet it is hard to believe the German manufacturer would use anything smaller.
Dubicars.com has used Audi R8 for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
