With increased pressure from their fellow German rivals, a 2019 BMW 7-series executive sedan has been spotted in the wild with a fresh face and a wide range of potential futuristic options.
Mercedes-Benz has already unleashed their face-lifted S-Class lineup, and Audi have announced their new A8 will be revolutionary regarding technology, it was only a matter of time before Bavaria’s finest jumped on the bandwagon.
What’s new for the 2019 BMW 7-Series?
Judging by the black and white swirls covering both the front and rear end, BMW has revised both ends. New headlight cases are visible, and slimmer taillights are visible around the back.
Also evident is a refreshed traditional double-kidney front grille.
Oddly enough, BMW has covered up their rear logo on this test mule. What could they be doing with that though is anyone’s guess.
Inside, BMW’s range-topping executive sedan will play host to a wide range of new technology and upgraded safety features to ensure the 2019 BMW 7-Series stands out from its rivals along with ultra-luxurious options. This will consist of Level 3 autonomous driving which coincidentally will also feature in the next Audi A8.
Engines available for 2019 BMW 7-Series models are expected to be updated to unleash more power, produce less emissions and offer more electricity for plug-in hybrid models.
2019 vehicles are still at least a year away, so stay tuned for more information over the coming months.
