Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division has been rather busy over the past few months. With their Jaguar XE SV Project 8 already creating a buzz, another model was revealed not too long ago for those who crave offroad driving. The 2018 Land Rover Discovery SVX is coming.
Customers are treated to additional ground clearance, long-travel dampers, Hydraulic Active Roll Control, Land Rover Terrain Response 2 system and 20-inch alloys wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain rubber.
Of course, the model wouldn’t be complete with some signature SVR touches. Exterior wise, the 2018 Land Rover Discovery SVX receives Rush Orange accents prominently highlight the front and back plus new skid plates and a new exclusive Tectonic Grey shade of paint.
Land Rover has also added an external light bolted to the roof and plenty of recovery hooks.
Inside, bright orange highlight the traditional luxurious interior, two-tone leather seats, pistol-grip shifter, perforated X logo and will boast enough room for up to seven occupants.
Dominant 2018 Land Rover Discovery SVX power
Lift the bonnet and you’ll find a supercharged V8 5.0-litre petrol engine and is exclusive to this Discovery. Pushing out 518 horsepower and 625 Nm to each corner, the Discovery SVX is more than capable of carving its way through any terrain.
Unveiled earlier this month in Frankfurt, the 2018 Land Rover Discovery SVX won’t stay a concept for too long as you can expect the model to go into production next year.
