Another Mercedes-AMG A45 test mule has been spotted in the wild and has shed some of its heavy camo giving us a clearer picture of what’s to come.
From afar, it may look identical to pictures that surfaced before, but there is something different about this model besides the lighter camouflage.
Each corner appears to be fitted with stunning AMG alloys, and cutaways reveal larger air intakes on the aggressive front bumper.
As we previously mentioned not too long ago, new Mercedes-AMG A45 do sit lower to the ground, and we’ve heard, quad exhaust pipes could feature on the back end infused into a possible redesigned rear diffuser.
It is missing the large rear wing, however. Don’t panic too much as that should be bolted on closer to production.
New Mercedes-AMG A45, new power
Mounted in the front is believed to be a slightly tuned version of the Mercedes M133 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine cranking out over 400 horsepower.
Mated to a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission driving each corner, Mercedes-AMG A45 hot hatches should be able to sprint to 100 km/ in under four seconds.
With a lightning-quick sprint time, the model surpasses the current version and its closest rivals including the Audi RS3.
This new Mercedes-AMG A45 model will be part of the 2019 lineup and is said to launch in 2018. Hold on tight as it will most certainly be worth the wait.
