New Cayenne Turbo with impressive stats

Frankfurt is in full swing and a flurry of automotive players are releasing their latest and greatest products. MercedesToyota and now Porche’s new Cayenne Turbo are on display.

To set itself apart from the rest of Cayenne family customers are treated to a unique front end, premium 21-inch rims, LED headlights, flared wheel arches, dual exhaust tips and door trims.

An adaptive roof spoiler is present which is not just a pretty face as it plays a vital role in terms of efficiency, increases downforce on the rear axle and acts as an air brake.

Hiding behind the enlarged rims is a set of high-performance brakes featuring a tungsten carbine layer coating the steel discs to improve stopping power and resistance. Additionally, buyers can swap those out for a ceramic composite set instead.

Inside, owners benefit from a set of powered sport seats, multifunction steering wheel and a premium BOSE sound system as standard.

Porsche’s latest offering of the Cayenne Turbo can be had with rear-axle steering, Torque Vectoring Plus and Dynamic Chassis Control roll stabilisation.

More power for the new Cayenne Turbo

Using Porsche’s signature 4-litre twin-turbo V8, 542 horsepower is directed to each corner via a new 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox.

The latest model packs 30 more horses and 20 Nm of torque compared to current versions which allow the new one to zip to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Fit the Sports Chrono Package, and that time drops to 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 286 km/h.

With Porsche revealing the latest Cayenne Turbo less than 24 hours ago, select European customers can order the new model with prices starting at €138,850 or AED 610,875.

Deliveries are expected by the end of 2017.

Dubicars.com has new Porsche Cayenne and used Porsche Cayenne for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
