2018 Ghibli fully revealed in China

After last weeks reveal of the 2018 Ghibli, the model has now been officially launched in China with two new unique versions of the entry-level luxury sedan.

One 2018 Ghibli, two unique flavours

Those who prefer the finer things in life can choose the Granlusso trim. Offering silk upholstery and an elegantly crafted front and rear bumpers, this is the model you want if you prefer to be left alone.

Those who prefer a touch of aggression with their luxury five seats can have their 2018 Ghibli in GranSport trim. Drivers and passengers alike are treated to custom interior features, while those gazing upon the vehicle take note of the aggressive exterior.

Both nameplates are available with any of the four drivetrains within the 2018 Ghibli lineup and adaptive LED headlights as standard.

Cosmetic changes are not the only changes to be found with the 2018 Ghibli. The Ferrari sourced 3-litre twin-turbo V6 pushes out an additional 20 horsepower bring the total up to a cool 430 hp.

Maserati says the executive four door launches to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds in S Q4 trim which is 0.1 seconds faster than 2017 models. Top speed is electronically capped at 286 km/h for both S and S Q4 models.

There are a number of hardware changes to note as previously reported. This includes a host of active safety features including Highway Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Adaptive Crusie Control, Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane Keep Assist.

The hydraulic steering system has also been removed in favour for an electric steering system instead.
