BMW has dropped yet another teaser of their upcoming new roadster model before its debut. Last time was a mere silhouette with only a few details visible; this time, just about half of the exterior is on show of which has been confirmed as the new BMW Z4.
Even with BMW releasing an official picture, they are still being secretive about the upcoming model but have described it as “sporty and progressive.”
This concept showcases the new BMW Z4 design. With the traditional double kidney front grille complementing a sleek front end which also boasts a sculpted hood and LED headlights flanking either side.
Its sporty nature continues with a steep windshield and slim rear view mirrors. You’ll notice behind the front wheels, large air vents which channel air towards the enlarged rear fenders.
Other highlights include large alloy rims on each corner and dome-like supports behind either headrest.
The new BMW Z4 is to make its worldwide debut this week at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. During the event, we should find out what powertrains will be offered. We aren’t expecting the current ones to be dismissed anytime soon albeit with some slight revisions to produce more power and increased fuel economy.
We have been informed that both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available.
BMW has confirmed that the model teased will be available to purchase sometime next year with an unconfirmed price tag.
