No additional seats for Range Rover

Range Rover are synonymous in the luxury SUV segment, but with many new rivals filtering in including Bentley, Rolls-Royce and BMW with their Bentayga, Cullinan and X7 models respectively. Recently, they’ve downplayed a rumour that could put them one step ahead.

This so-called rumour involves Range Rover adding a third row which now has been confirmed as untrue leaving customers to choose between an executive four seat setup or the standard five seats. This would certainly put them ahead of rivals as a more luxurious way to commute with the family.

Technically you can have a six or seven-seater Range Rover with select models as the manufacturer has Event Seats as an optional extra. These won’t allow you to travel your friend’s children to Dubai Mall, instead, they fold out of the rear end and are perfect for a late night fire work display or a trip to the desert.

Of course, Land Rover hasn’t ruled out seven seater models anywhere in their lineup as current Discovery models can be had with two extra seats in the rear. In select markets, customers can also purchase a Range Rover Evoque with seven-seats although that may be a tight squeeze in the back.

According to reports, Range Rover is said to be working on a two-door vehicle similar to that of the old-school off-roader which could be the successor to the recently dropped Defender model.

Dubicars.com has new Land Rover and used Land Rover for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
