Launched in 2013 with a fresh face, fast forward to 2017 and its time for a mild refresh to be applied to the 2018 Peugeot.
Notably, the front end is upgraded with a new bonnet, headlights, trim and grille plus larger grille openings and a new bumper to complete the package.
LED daytime running lights highlight the front end with the brand’s signature “claw” design.
Inside, 2018 Peugeot 308 models receive a host of upgrades including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and upgraded 3D satellite navigation. All of which are optionally available.
An array of safety features are also optionally available including cruise control, cameras, park assist, active braking and lane departure assist.
On top of those, the brands Visiopark 1 is also on offer. With this system fitted, 2018 Peoguet 308’s can automatically steer the vehicle into a free parking space.
During the mid-cycle refresh, the 2018 Peugeot 308 also receives a sharper eight-speed automatic gearbox developed by Aisin to power the front wheels. Enthusiasts will be happy to know the punchy 308 GTi sticks around for a few more years.
One petrol motor has been confirmed to return alongside two diesel motors. Select markets benefit from a selection of BlueHDI 130 S&S four cylinder diesel and a single three-cylinder petrol engine. These motors are standard with a six-speed manual box instead of an automatic.
Updated 2018 Peugeot 308 models are to launch later this year in Europe with GCC markets to follow shortly afterwards.
