BMW have been trying their best to keep power figures of the next BMW M5. An internal leak has ousted the sports sedan’s outputs, and as we expected, they are enormous.
Fitted with a 4.4-litre V8 twin turbocharged motor, the next BMW M5 will pump out a mega 600 horsepower! Working in conjunction with the brand’s token all-wheel drive system, the executive sedan sprints to 100 in an impressive 3.6 seconds. Although its sprint time is unconfirmed, that number could drop in the coming months.
Drivers will be able to activate three different drive modes all of which determine how much power is sent to the rear wheels. Similar to that of the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Drift Mode, drivers can choose to send all 600 horses to the rear end for a wild ride.
Upcoming BMW M5 models will not only ship with ludicrous amounts of horsepower. It also ships with a carbon fibre roof, reworked 8-speed automatic gearbox, unique dashboard cluster and side mirrors similar to those found on M3 and M4 models.
The model will also be available in Marina Bay Blue for the first time with 20-inch Jet Black alloy rims to complete the look.
It remains a mystery when we’ll get our first glimpse of next BMW M5. Rumours have the vehicle penned in for a live presentation at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
Seeing as there are a few months until the vehicles grand debut, we’ve got new BMW 5-series and used BMW 5-series for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
