It’s not very often we see top tier sedans receive a potent sports derived model. Mercedes seem to steer to the C-Class when it comes to Black Series sedans while others follow the same route. Lexus could be the first of the executive sedan makers to launch a performance four door with the LS F.
Recent trademark filings appear to confirm this badge, but we are not sure when exactly we’ll see the model debut. Even as a concept, we are anxiously waiting for its grand debut.
Last month’s New York motor show hosted the unveiling of the Lexus LS F Sport with the standard V6 415 hp motor locked underneath the front end with enhanced suspension and minor revisions to the exterior.
Those numbers don’t stack up to that of the Audi S8 Plus and BMW M760Li that ship with 600 horsepower or even the Mercedes S63 with its 557 hp V8 and the Jaguar XJR 550 hp motor. An LS F model will certainly put the Japanese brand in contention with those four if they push more power to the rear-wheels.
The closest the world ever got to see an LS F styled Lexus was back in 2012. Built by Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Germany, the LS 650 Sport packed a mighty V8 5-litre twin-turbo petrol motor pushing out a mega 641 horsepower. However, this model never hit showrooms.
Until we get official confirmation of the model, we’ve got a large collection of new Lexus LS-Series and used Lexus LS-Series for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
