Japanese car brand; Nissan, wants more NISMO derived vehicles in its fleet. We want them and you definitely want more of these to be made.
Nissan hasn’t exactly clarified what’s next in line for the enhancement treatment, but what they have done is announced a specialised NISMO Cars Business Unit that will focus on expanding the lineup past the 15,000 units they produce annually.
We’ve already seen the NISMO treatment applied to UAE fan favourites like the Patrol, 370Z, Juke and GT-R. Then there are the ones that have yet to arrive in GCC showrooms including NISMO versions of the Sentra and yes the Nissan Note which is called the Tiida in the GCC.
So what’s next for Nissan and NISMO? There are plenty of vehicles in their fleet that has yet to receive the sporty enhancements. Potentially, we could see enhanced versions of the Altima and Maxima that we’re sure would sell well here.
We can’t rule out the possibility of the Rogue (Qashqai here) and various pickups from the Japanese brand receiving plusher interiors, red accents and more power.
Don’t get carried away and dream up performance derived versions of the Sunny or X-Trail as those two may be a bit far-fetched. Even though, now that we’ve mentioned it, a NISMO Sunny would be pretty awesome to drive the streets of the UAE.
Want a NISMO derived vehicle? We’ve got plenty of them scattered across new Nissan and used Nissan for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
