We’ve already caught a glimpse of the 2018 Mercedes CLS covered in heavy camo before its grand debut later this year. However, recently 2018 CLS models have been spotted testing in Europe with slight variations between each of them.
We noticed certain parts of camo have been removed from the grille to give use a better view, but what really caught our eye are the headlights of each model.
Previous spy shots revealed the 2018 Mercedes CLS sporting lights with L-Shaped indicators whereas this fresh batch of images shows off a revised position for the indicators as well as minor tweaks to the rest of the setup.
While Mercedes have yet to announce anything regarding the headlights, we could be looking at the potential of different front lights depending on your budget.
Rumour has it, the 2018 Mercedes CLS is said to adopt the CLE moniker and will share the E-Class platform. While the former is merely a rumour, 2018 CLS vehicle’s will benefit from the potent E-Class engines including the 4-litre twin-turbo V8 to power AMG versions of the CLS.
There is also the potential of a plug-in hybrid motor joining the ranks shortly.
The German manufacturer has yet to announce when the camo will be dropped from the 2018 Mercedes CLS or what motor show we’ll catch a glimpse of the updated model.
Once launched, the model will continue to fend off the Audi A7 and BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe.
Until then, we’ve got new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and used Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
