Last week, we heard that the 2018 LS 500 F Sport was to break cover at this week’s New York motor show. Now that the show is in full swing, Lexus has not only confirmed the F Sport; but there’s also a handling package available.
Now before you get excited 2018 LS 500 F Sport models won’t be shipping with a V8 with additional horses exiting the rear end as the Japanese brand doesn’t want to sacrifice comfort for performance.
Buyers of the 2018 LS 500 F Sport are treated to a different F Sport exclusive white paint, extended side skirts, slightly different front grille and over 7,000 individual changes undetectable to the naked eye to create a pitch perfect machine.
Inside, the package adds additional aluminium trim highlights, F Sport exclusive steering wheel and dashboard cluster plus slightly enhanced seats. All fo this can be had with the exclusive red leather that may or may not be called Dark Rose.
We can also confirm the 2018 LS 500 F Sport will ship with one of the two already approved power units. This includes the hybrid V6 powertrain.
Lexus also took the time to reveal a handling package which is exclusive for F Sport customers and includes four-wheel steering and sport-tuned adjustable air suspension for each corner.
It’s also a possibility that Lexus add an F Sport package to the recently launched LC 500 coupe with experts suggesting an LC F is in the works.
Until the LS 500 launches later this year, we’ve got new Lexus LS-Series and used Lexus LS-Series for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
