What’s that frolicking in the snow? Oh, it’s a wild cat with a different badge. Could this be the Jaguar F-Pace SVR? It could be with those four tailpipes sticking out of the rear end that give it all away.
Here’s why we think this model will be popular. First off, this is an SUV capable of accommodating five people in comfort and Secondly, the F-Pace SVR is going to be fast! Just look at how potent the Range Rover Sport SVR is.
550 horsepower from a supercharged V8 5-litre petrol motor propels the Sport SVR to over 250 km/h and from standstill to 100 km/h in a mere 4.8 seconds. Now let’s turn our attention to the what could power the F-Pace SVR. It’s either going to be an uprated version of the 3-litre V6 motor, or it could benefit from the 5-litre V8.
We do however have to wait till mid to late 2018 for the F-Pace SVR to launch around the world. Until then, we can’t wait for the harsh yet delightful tones of the beast. Before that, we expect the vehicle to make an appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show or even the Dubai International Motor Show.
This isn’t the only hot SUV on its way. Rumour has it that Mercedes-Benz are working on an enhanced GLC63 and Audi are said to be working on an RS Q5. Others are sure to follow as hotter versions of anything sell like hotcakes.
