Aston Martin’s Valkyrie may be taking the spotlight around the world; the British brand has quietly launched their very own performance brand to rival BMW’s M and Mercedes-Benz AMG’s called AMR.
AMR isn’t technically a new thing as the subdivision debuted way back in 2004. However, it was restricted to the race track. Fast forward to 2017 and the brand has expanded to the streets with two models up for grabs.
Currently, AMR is offering cosmetic and power upgrades to the Rapide and Vantage cars.
AMR Rapide models are limited to just 210 numbers and sport Lime Green highlight stripes, custom 21-inch alloys, splitters, rear diffuser and carbon fibre complementing the interior.
Fixed to the chassis is a new exhaust system that allows 592 horsepower to escape the rear end from the 6-litre V12 hiding under the bonnet. With around 40 more hp than standard models, AMR Rapide models can hit a top speed of 338 km/h.
Vantage AMR Pro models are slightly more limited as they are restricted to just seven units! The vehicle sports similar cosmetic attachment the Rapide version has as well as centrelock wheels covered in Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tyres.
500 horsepower escapes the tail end from the vehicle powerplant.
It’s unknown how much these models cost. However, seeing as both are built in limited numbers, feature carbon fibre as well as a unique set of paint, they are sure to cost a fistful of dollars more than base models.
Until these exclusive models launch around the world, we’ve got new Aston Martin and used Aston Martin for sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
