BMW i8 Roadster vehicles will utilise the same engine as coupe models. A 1.5-litre three cylinder motor paired with an electric motor. Together they produce a respectable 357 horsepower.

Speaking of doors, with the new roof in tow, looks like the butterfly doors won’t be present for obvious reasons leaving out one of the vehicles unique features.

Upon launch, BMW could also introduce a mild refresh to the coupe model. We are also anticipating a handful of bespoke models to roll into Abu Dhabi’s premiership model. What colour could it be? Green, Yellow or Purple. Maybe something unique.
