2017 Panamera’s are indeed quaking in their boots. A V6 3-litre engine could potentially join the ranks with both likely controlled by the German brands premium dual-clutch transmission.
It’s V8 will feature revamped turbochargers allowing for increased induction. Additionally, the engine selections could feature an innovative Integrated Starter Generator or ISG for short.
This new system injects an additional 20 horsepower for a short duration of time thanks to an electric motor mounted to transmission.
Comprised of a 48-volt unit, street legal versions of the four-door Mercedes-Benz GT4 could use a “larger” lithium-ion battery.
If and when the model hits the streets, it won’t be replacing the CLS-series. Instead, it’s set to replace the CLS Shooting Brake models that may or may not have been a huge success.
With the impending reveal of the Mercedes-Benz GT4, we expect a street legal version to launch in Europe sometime in 2018 with other markets receiving the four-door shortly afterwards.
For now, we’ve got an excellent selection of new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT and used Mercedes-Benz AMG GT for sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
