Adding exclusive packages to vehicles is currently a trending “thing” all auto manufacturers are applying. Mercedes has their Midnight package, Range Rover has the black pack, and there are a fair few others. Chevrolet is the latest to jump on the bandwagon with their Redline Special Edition Series.
Redline cars will bare their very own unique exterior and interior markings including black rims on each corner with a dash of red, blacked out grille and Chevy emblems, black name badges highlighted with red and on select models, additional red highlights on the grille, tow hooks and decals.
Currently, the golden bowtie is applying the Redline package to the majority of their lineup:
- Camaro LT SS (coupe and convertible)
- Colorado LT
- Cruze LT (sedan and hatchback)
- Equinox LT
- Malibu LT
- Silverado Double Cab LT Z71 and Crew Cab LTZ Z71
- Traverse Premier
- Trax LT
Those looking for a boost in power will have to look elsewhere as the changes are purely cosmetic and it’s unconfirmed if there are any changes inside.
Chevrolet Silverado models are the first vehicles to adorn the Redline highlights with the rest of the lineup receiving the treatment before the end of the year.
The Redline Series made its debut at SEMA in 2015 where the brand received dozens upon dozens of inquiries about the series and when it will be introduced.
