Detroit may be over, but that doesn’t put a stop to auto manufacturers from unveiling models and limited edition’s as Nissan has just revealed the Nissan Navara Trek-1° set to debut in Belguim.
The name is a nod to the exact location of the Navarre desert located in Spain. This particular Navara sports LED spot lights mounted on the rear roll bar that is coated in black paint, 18-inch black alloy rims adorning each corner, a bed divider and different stickers on the rear quarter panels.
On top of that, the limited edition Navara can be equipped with leather upholstery, sunroof, powered front seats with heating options, diff lock, trailer coupling mount and a spare tyre.
Each model is available with a selection of two paint jobs, Black Metallic and Pearlescent White. Trek-1° Navara’s are controlled by a six-speed manual gearbox mated to a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel motor with outputs of 160 or 190 horsepower.
A seven-speed automatic gearbox is also on the table, and each model is four wheel drive.
Nissan has included the latest safety features both inside and out and highlights navigation, 360-degree view camera, LED head lights, hill start assist, forward emergency braking and vehicle dynamic control plus each model are exclusively fitted with multi-link rear suspension.
Only 1,500 units are to be built and sold exclusively in Europe. That doesn’t mean any won’t make their way to GCC countries.
