Measuring in longer, lower and wider, the LS 500 features a redesigned exterior with cues taken from the upcoming LC 500 coupe bringing the luxury sedan right back in the mix.
Inside the cabin, 2018 Lexus LS models are equipped with a 3D surround Mark Levinson sound system, 12.3-inch infotainment system with navigation and other media functions, cooled massaging front memory seats plus many other luxurious features that transition across.
As with the previous generations, an executive rear package is available and adds additional legroom.
With looks and all crossed off the list, Japanese finest has found a way to reduce overall weight during the building process by incorporating lightweight aluminium resulting in a 90 kg drop in weight.
Lexus has also released the 2018 Lexus LS’s power unit which comes as a surprise as every generation so for has seen an increase regarding displacement. Upcoming models are equipped with a 3.5-litre V6 motor with twin turbocharged induction. Together, they produce 415 horsepower and 442 Nm of torque, an increase of around 25 horses.
