No need to adjust your screens or your eyes for that matter as this is the G 500 Mercedes-Benz 4×42 just with a different badge. Riding on a set of 22-inch off-road tyres, the G 550 AMG rides 450 mm higher than standard models giving the SUV not just an intimidating look but the ability to traverse any terrain that it comes across.
Powering all four monstrous wheels is a 4-litre V8 Biturbo petrol motor rated at just over 400 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque all while mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
Options appear to be identical to those Mercedes-Benz 4×42 models including the additional protection to the undercarriage, beefed up suspension, carbon fibre trim, LED fog lights mounted on the roof, adaptive xenon’s, navigation, ventilated seats, Bluetooth options and everything else in between.
It even has a reverse camera and parking sensors to aid the parking process as this may be hard to squeeze into certain areas.
