Order your 2017 Delorean today!

Wait what? Aren’t those vehicles long gone? Yes, they are but due to their immense cult status and certain laws in America, the time travelling machine is back as the Delorean Motor Company (DMC) has opened the books for the 2017 DeLorean.

I know you’re on the edge of your seats and your wallets are bursting with excitement, but that isn’t even the best news of all. Each vehicle is to be constructed using the original blueprints and parts which make them even more desirable. Complete with gullwing doors, the V6 motor from the initial run is said not to power the rear wheels.

Instead, a new engine is supposed to find a home underneath the bonnet to power the icon. This could give the opportunity to offer customers a selection of motors with various cylinders and rated higher than the 190 horsepower the 80’s models produced.

No price has been specified for the 2017 Delorean and for those that want the dream of going 88 miles per hour and zooming their way into the future and back can place an order and pay once the car is built.

One unit will be made every month; the revived company has enough parts to build 300 total units. Better get those pre-orders today!
