Porsche’s crossover, the Macan Turbo is already quite potent. Porsche already knows this, but at the same time, they want to infuse it with extra juice by offering a performance package that not only adds a healthy dose of power but a host of cosmetic options to stand out.
Packed with a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine, without the Package, 394 horsepower exerts from the quad exhaust tips. With the upgrade, 40 additional horses are packed inside enabling the vehicle to hit 100 km/h from standstill in 4.4 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than base trim Turbo models while its top speed is capped at 272 km/h.
On the outside, 21-inch 911 Turbo alloy rims are attached on each corner, LED headlights along with Porsche’s exclusive lighting equipment. Inside, black leather with a touch of Alcantara cover the five seats, dashboard and door panels with contrasting trim options and carbon touches.
Dive into the underpinnings and you’ll find larger brake discs attached to the front with standard six-calipers clamps, lowered suspension bring the vehicle 15 mm’s closer to the ground and if that isn’t enough, Porsche is also offering and additional self-levelling air operated system to lower the vehicle a further 10 mm’s.
As standard, the brand’s unique sports exhaust system is attached underneath with configurable modes as is their Sports Chrono Package that adds an analogue clock inside on top of other minor changes.
2017 Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package models are priced at €122,512 or AED 501,508 and are ready to roll out later this year.
