Teased just before the New York Motor Show just before it was unveiled in all its glory, the 2017 Nissan GT-R has officially launched! In Japan at least. Although that is still a few thousand miles away, that only means it’s a matter of time before Godzilla is released right here in the UAE.
Two versions of the beast are available and are priced as followed in Japan:
Trim | Transmission | Price in Yen | Price in AED |
Track Edition engineered by NISMO | GR6 dual-clutch | 13,699,800 | 500,969 |
Nismo | GR6 dual-clutch | 18,700,200 | 683,822 |
Note: Prices have yet to be confirmed in the UAE.
Can’t wait that long for a GT-R? We’ve got new Nissan GT-R and used Nissan GT-R for sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In 2017 trim, GT-R Nismo maintains their overall shape with a distinctive new grille with a chrome “V” which is shared throughout the Nissan range. Re-enforced with carbon-fibre front bumpers creates an equal balance of strength. Mesh behind the grille has been enlarged to suck in more air.
Inside, the Japanese brand fitted a larger 8-inch touchscreen display for media with larger icons to ensure easy use. A new steering wheel is fitted in front of the revamp dashboard cluster with paddle shifters attached in such a way in order for drivers to grip them tighter and effortlessly change gears mid-corner.
Covering the cabin is high-quality leather Alcantara with optional Recaro carbon fibre racing seats with hints of red.
For those hoping for autonomous features within the sports car, may have to wait till the next generation of Godzilla.
