2017 Toyota GT86 models are on the way to UAE showrooms shortly. As of today, they have hit the shores of the US, and we’ve got how much they will cost.
2017 Toyota GT86 models have arrived in the United States with a base price of $27,120 or AED 99,610 which in all fairness is only an AED 3,500 increase from the outgoing generation. This suggested price are for vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, those wanting an automatic gearbox will have to fork out around $27,840 or AED 102,250 which is an AED 2,100 increase.
Apart from the Scion FR-S badge that was previously used on this vehicle other new features include enhanced bodywork providing more aggression thanks to a bulkier front end with additional air inlets on either side.
Powering the rear wheels is the same 2-litre four-cylinder motor. This time around, an extra five horsepower is produced bringing the total to 205 hp and 212 Nm of torque.
Toyota has also upgraded the vehicle’s underpinnings and shocks for increased handling. Each model also comes standard with Hill Start Assist Control and improved fuel economy.
No changes to the inside to report as there are no major ones. All standard and optional extras remain identical.
While UAE pricing hasn’t been made available for the sporty coupe, expect them to be similar to that of the American versions and if you can’t wait to get your hands on one, why not import one from the US.
