Drivers who have had their vehicle impounded in the Emirate of Fujairah are in luck as traffic fines regarding the motor have been reduced by 50%.
Earlier today (Tuesday the 3rd of July), a senior official from Fujairah Police announced that drivers across the Emirate can pay off their impound fines at 50% discount on the occasion of the Year of Zayed.
Major-General Mohammed Ahmad Bin Ganem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police also announced the discount is available right now, and motorists have up until September 30th, 2018, after that, the discount will not be available.
“The decision was made to benefit citizens and residents on the occasion of the Year of Zayed,” said Major-General Al Kabbi. “The discount aims to raise awareness and educate motorists on traffic violations.”
Brigadier Ali Rashid Bin Awash Al Yamani expressed to motorists to take this opportunity to clear all of their traffic fines which led to the confiscation of their vehicle.
