2024 Jeep Wrangler Revealed At New York Auto Show; Will Be Launched In The UAE Soon

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler was recently revealed with a slightly redesigned front end and the SUV now boasts a couple of new variants as well. The new Jeep Wrangler was revealed at the 2023 New York Auto Show and is expected to be launched in the UAE soon. This, however, is only a mid-life facelift and not a generational update, and therefore the engine options remain unchanged.

2024 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is an icon in the four-wheeled world. Irrespective of whether one likes an off-road vehicle or not, everyone recognises the Jeep Wrangler. In fact, the Wrangler has more Jeep in it than all the other vehicles produced by Jeep combined. It is one of those vehicles that define the very brand that manufactures it.

In such cases, it is very hard to make major changes to the vehicle without putting off its enthusiasts. This is probably why the Jeep Wrangler has remained relatively unchanged for a long time now. The current generation of the Jeep Wrangler first came out in 2019 and has basically stayed the same ever since. Now, Jeep has finally made a few minor changes.

First up is quite obviously the design. Jeep enthusiasts will immediately notice the redesigned front bumper and grille. The bumper now bears a more urban jungle-friendly styling while the grille is very different. Of course, Jeep has stuck to its signature seven-slat grille. However, the slats are thinner and this gives some more room for the massive 8,000-pound winch to be fitted.

In addition, the slim slats make room for more air to reach the engine bay, resulting in an engine that runs cooler. With the new facelifted Wrangler, one can see that Jeep has paid much attention to styling and the ability to customise. Buyers can choose from 10 different alloy wheel designs!

If just choosing between different alloy wheels doesn’t cut it for you, Jeep also gives you the option to choose the type of roof you want on your Wrangler. There is the traditional soft top, a combination of soft and hard tops, a body-coloured hard top, and a Black hard top.

You can also choose between a full-frame door and a half-frame door. In case you want to get tonnes of sand inside the vehicle while out bashing the dunes, you can even remove the doors completely. There are a couple of updates inside the SUV as well.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen which is a much-needed upgrade over the current 8.4-inch touchscreen. The larger screen has resulted in the circular centre AC vents being replaced by a rectangular vent under the screen. The new infotainment system also comes with the Trails Offroad guide with over 3,000 off-road trails incorporated into the system.

With the new facelifted Jeep Wrangler also comes two new variants. The new Sport S 4xe variant brings the PHEV hybrid powertrain to a lower variant. The other variant that has been added to the lineup is the Rubicon X. This one comes with massive 35-inch tyres and off-road cameras, therefore giving the already well-equipped Rubicon more off-road ability.

As aforementioned, the powertrain options on the new Jeep Wrangler haven’t changed. Here is a list of engine options with the Jeep Wrangler.

  • 2.0-litre PHEV — 375hp & 637Nm
  • 2.0-litre Turbo-Petrol — 270hp & 400Nm
  • 3.6-litre V6 Petrol — 285hp & 353Nm
  • 6.4-litre V8 Petrol — 470hp & 637Nm

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most popular vehicles in the UAE market as well. It is one of the Top 10 SUVs To Buy In The UAE as well. As a result of its immense popularity, we expect the UAE to be among the first countries to receive the 2024 Jeep Wrangler as well.

However, if you’re a fan of the current-gen Wrangler and are looking at purchasing a Jeep Wrangler before the new one arrives, here are new Jeep Wrangler SUVs for sale in the UAE and used Jeep Wrangler SUVs for sale in the UAE
