In its factory setting the 5.0 litre naturally-aspirated V8 pushes out 500hp and 567Nm. After Hennessey’s upgrade, the supercharged engine produces 850hp and 884 Nm of peak torque — an increase of 350hp and 317Nm.
Purists can still opt for the 6-speed Tremec manual to extract every bit of the newly tuned power. Convenience seekers can opt for the 10-speed automatic as well. Both transmissions send power to the rear wheel for some slideways action.
