2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron debuts in the UAE. Audi Dubai – Al Nabooda Automobiles has launched the 2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron and a display model is available at the showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road. The Audi Q8 e-Tron is priced at AED 419,900, VAT included and pre-bookings for the flagship electric SUV are now open.
Audi e-Tron Legacy
With cars like the e-Tron GT, Q4 e-Tron, Q4 Sportback e-Tron, Q5 e-Tron, Q2 L e-Tron, etc, Audi’s electric car brand e-Tron is one of the most well-known EV brands in the world. e-Tron’s cars are some of the most technologically advanced electric vehicles in the world. However, e-Tron wasn’t always a sub-brand.
e-Tron was the name of Audi’s first electric car. The Audi e-Tron was first showcased as a concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and production began in 2018. Over the next four years, the aforementioned e-Tron models were launched and therefore this car had to be renamed.
Given that it is the flagship electric SUV in Audi’s lineup, Audi chose to name it after the Q8 in 2022. It is now known as the Q8 e-Tron and the 2024 model of the Q8 e-Tron has just been launched in the UAE.

2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron Performance, Range & Charging
The 2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron is powered by a 408hp motor and a 106kWh battery pack. This combination allows the SUV to have the best of both performance and range. Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 5.6 seconds and the claimed range now stands at 582 kilometres. This range is 25 percent higher than the range on the outgoing model.
Charging the new Audi Q8 e-Tron is also a lot quicker. It takes just 31 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80% SOC when using a 170kW DC fast charger. It even comes with an onboard 22kW AC charger to allow for easier charging using just a wall socket.
2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron Design, Styling & Equipment
The 2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron also features a few design and styling upgrades over the outgoing model. The overall silhouette of the SUV remains the same. However, a few elements have been redesigned. The grille up front is brand new and so are the wheels. Yes, you do get high-definition cameras instead of mirrors on the outside.
The list of equipment on offer is lengthy as usual. The 2024 Audi Q8 e-Tron comes with adaptive air suspension, four-zone automatic climate control with pre-conditioning, a panoramic roof, plug & charge function, etc. There are two large touchscreen displays – 10.1-inch & 8.6-inch – to handle infotainment duties as well as in-cabin controls.
Audi Q8 Sportback e-Tron & SQ8 Sportback e-Tron
There are two other models available based on the Q8 e-Tron. The Q8 Sportback e-Tron is a sportier-looking version of the SUV and the SQ8 Sportback e-Tron is a high-performance version of the SUV which takes only 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100km/h.
