It’s been a while since Ram unveiled the Rebel TRX concept and after four years, the 2021 RAM TRX has been introduced as a production model with its headlights focused on the segment leader; the Ford Raptor.
Dubbed the fastest and most powerful mass-produced pickup truck to date, the 4×4 truck is powered by a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 rated at 702 horsepower and a mega 880 Nm of torque.
To cope with all that power, the TRX gets an upgraded eight-speed automatic gearbox and an off-road-focused four-wheel-drive system. With all that, the Ram boasts some impressive numbers.
For starters, the 2021 Ram TRX accelerates to 100 km.h in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h.
But the engine is just one part of the truck as it features a host of upgrades. It rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear all-terrain tyres which have been specially designed for the TRX.
In order for the RAM to accommodate the tyres, the high-performance pickup gets wider fenders and extended wheel arches.

While the exterior may be meaning to look at, the interior is catered towards luxury and comfort. There are three different interior trims to choose from, and the base is near identical to the Ram 1500 Rebel.
The rotary shifter has gone and been replaced by a new switchgear, and the centre console mainly consists of a large touchscreen infotainment system.
2021 Ram TRX price in the UAE starts at AED 390,000 for the Launch Edition and AED 365,000 for a top-spec base model. It is set to arrive in the UAE sometime early next year.
