2021 Hilux Adventure arrives in UAE

After its unveiling a few weeks ago, Al Futtaim Toyota – the official distributor for Toyota vehicles in the UAE has announced the arrival of the all-new 2021 Hilux Adventure. This is the first time that the vehicle has been available as a retail model in the Emirates, meaning it is no longer limited to the commercial-use sector.

Aimed towards those with an active family and lifestyle, the Hilux Adventure has been tested and approved by two-time Formula 1 world champion and two-time Le Mans 24 Hour winner Fernando Alonso who dubbed the pickup as “invincible”.

With exclusive features all around, the Hilux Adventure gets an athletic look, which includes a three-dimensional front grille and unique front bumper which add to the vehicle street presence. With beefed-up skid plates, widened wheel arches to fit 18-inch alloys and tyres, as well as unique door handles, the Hilux Adventure is fit for on- and off-road driving.

Under the bonnet bellows a proven 4-litre V6 engine rated at 235hp and 38.3kg-m of torque. With it comes a six-speed automatic gearbox with switchable four-wheel drive.

Inside, the vehicle gets a muscular interior complete with a new multi-infotainment display and an 8-inch centre console infotainment unit. Complete with the latest suite of software and graphics, the system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The bed of the truck gets a tough bed-liner and tonneau cover as standard as well as a rear-view camera, parking sensors, LED rear combination lamps and an onboard compressor.

For the exterior, there’s a choice of eleven colours available including white, orange, silver, grey, blue, red, bronze and black.

The 2021 Hilux Adventure price in UAE starts at AED 143,000.
