Following the success of the LX Inspiration and LC Inspiration limited edition models, Lexus have extended the program the 2020 Lexus LS 500.
The LS is the first Lexus saloon to receive the exclusive treatment and with it comes a unique exterior and interior colour plus a limited production run.
Coated in Deep Garnet, it is the first time its ever appeared on the 2020 Lexus LS 500. The Japanese brand describes the finish as a “deep, metallic shade of red that shimmers in the direct sun yet has a deep, lustrous tone in the shade.”
The bespoke colour is complemented by Black Vapor Chrome 20-inch rims that glint on the sunlight, yet retain a polished, subdued look in the shade.
Inside, the exclusive treatment continues with White leather as standard covering the door panels, seats and centre console, blue LED dash lighting, Kiriko glass trim on the door panels and ‘Lexus’ puddle lamps when the doors are open.
No changes have been made to the engine as the 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo pushes out 416 hp and 599 Nm of torque. This allows the LS to launch from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with the optional AWD system with the Torsen limited-slip centre differential.
The is a slight catch to all this, the 2020 Lexus LS 500 Inspiration Series is strictly limited to the US and only 300 units are to be built. But don’t let that stop you from importing one into the UAE.
