Bentley was one of the first to introduce a full-blown luxury SUV, and it’s about time for a mid-cycle refresh. The 2020 Bentley Bentayga has been updated for the model year, and what an update it is.
Every front panel has been redesigned giving the Bentayga a cleaner, modern look and incorporates a bolder, larger matrix grille flanked by new intelligent LED matrix headlamps. The front bumper is more assertive, and for the first time, the heated windscreen wipers have 22 washer jets on each arm.
One of the biggest changes to the cabin is the “super high resolution” all-digital 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. As standard, it features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with all-new navigation with satellite maps and online search.
There’s a new steering wheel borrowed from other Bentleys, new door trims and all-new seats.
Rear passengers get a new, larger touchscreen remote control tablet similar to the one found in Bentley saloon cars. A wireless phone charger and USB-C Data ports are standard now too.
They can also stretch out their legs out a little more with legroom now increased to 100mm depending on the configuration. They are also now available with ventilation.
Overall the cabin has been made more luxurious with the addition of dark tint diamond brushed aluminium trim. Two straight-grained veneers: Koa and Crown Cut Walnut are also new for the model year.
For 2021, the Bentayga will remain unchanged with the luxury SUV launching with a twin-turbo V8. The 4-litre engine will continue to generate 542 horsepower and is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and standard AWD.
Later on, the W12 6-litre motor will return with a top speed of 305 km/h plus for the first time, Bentley will introduce the Bentayga Hybrid PHEV.
Dubicars has new Bentley and used Bentley for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
