Toyota is showcasing a special edition version of their popular workhorse truck at the 2019 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, called the 2019 Toyota Hilux Special Editon or 2019 Special Edition, the exclusive variant boasts unique exterior and interior design features and is available in Double Cab and Extra Cab configurations.
Starting with the exterior, the Special Edition Hilux gets Black, and Dark Grey touches including the front upper grille surround, skid plates, mirror caps and door handles.
18-inch alloys flank each corner and are finished in either black or a bespoke two-tone finish.
Inside, the 2019 Toyota Hilux Special Edition gets a full black cabin, chrome instrument panel detailing and piano black inserts on the steering wheel, gear lever and door panels.
Also new is are the dashboard gauges with a white background and a special 2019 Hilux Special Edition signature animation which flashes up on the central TFT screen when the ignition is switched on.
The key for the vehicle is also special as it features a silhouette sketch of the Hilux’s frontal design.
As for safety, the 2019 Toyota Hilux is fitted with the Toyota Safety Sense package. It includes High-Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Sign Assist, Lane Departure Alert with brake induced steering and a Pre-Collision system.
