Amongst the flurry of BMW, Toyota and Rolls-Royce spy shots that have recently flooded the internet, the 2019 Nissan Altima has been caught traversing the streets too.
Earlier this year, Nissan revealed the Vmotion 2.0 concept car which would serve as an inspiration for the sixth generation of the Altima. Although it may be covered from end-to-end in black and white swirls, key elements of the concept are visible.
For example, the V-shaped front grille, angular headlights and floating roof line are visible and are noticeably toned down from the concept version.
Interior shots reveal a similar gear lever to current models leading us to believe the model will continue to use a CVT gearbox. On the entertainment front, a larger multimedia system is visible with traditional dial controls and lower down, an automatic climate control unit is evident.
Four cylinder petrol motors should continue to power the front wheels of the 2019 Nissan Altima; while rumours are circulating a turbocharged four-pot motor could be made available. Currently, US versions of the Altima can be had with a V6; however, it is unknown if these will carry over to the 2019 Nissan Altima.
Front wheel drive will once again be standard as previously mentioned, although we’re inclined to believe, Nissan will offer all-wheel drive.
2019 Nissan Altima sedans are said to benefit from a wide range of safety features that will aid drivers not only on the road but while parking too.
Dubicars.com has new Nissan Altima and used Nissan Altima for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
