Just in case you thought the F-Pace S wasn’t quick enough in a straight line, Jaguar Land Rover have you covered with the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR.
Making its global debut after numerous sightings at the 2018 New York Auto Show, Jaguar’s latest models packs a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 found in similar performance vehicles JLR currently offer including the Range Rover Sport SVR and F-Type. Once the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR hits showrooms, drivers will have 542 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque at their disposal allowing them to slam their foot down and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a swift 4.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 283 km/h.
Paired with a standard all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission, Jaguar has also fitted a lighter Variable Valve Exhaust System and that’s not all. The British marquee has also tweaked the chassis to go with the additional power.
Other changes include lightweight forged 21-inch alloys with optional 22’s on offer, wider rear tyres and an enhanced braking kit. The potent SUV also has rear Electronic Active Differential.
What else to expect from the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR
Besides the larger alloys, Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations SVO has added a variety of aerodynamic additions including a reworked front bumper with larger air intakes, bespoke bonnet and rear bumper with larger air outlets. A unique quad exhaust outlet sticks out of the rear and gracing the roof is a new spoiler.
Inside, the sportiness continues as the front seats have been swapped out for a seat of performance racing-inspired seats featuring the SVR logo. There’s also a sporty shifter and an SVR branded multi-function steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters for drivers to grip and fly throught the gears. Completing the cabin is a standard 12.3-inch digital HD instrument panel an Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen.
