Honda has revealed the 2019 Honda Civic which has a few new pieces here and there plus some new standard technology.
Cosmetically the 2019MY sports a redesigned lower bumper which gives the vehicle a wider presence, new blacked-out headlight surround and new lower rear bumper with chrome strip.
All trim levels of the 2019 Honda Civic include a restyled steering wheel controls, a new larger cup holder in the centre console and updated dashboard trims. LX trim levels have Gunmetal Gray, EX, EX-L and Touring have a metallic finish, and Sport trims have a unique embossed finish.
No matter the variant, all 2019 Honda Civic vehicles have additional sound insulation to further reduce road noise with insulation added to the floor, boot, front and rear fenders.
Inside, the cabin receives some subtle changes including the Display Audio system which is standard on Sport trims and higher which now has a new interface, volume controller and physical buttons for select applications as well as enhanced Bluetooth integration for easier pairing.
EX variants also receive the new Display Audio system, standard dual-zone climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 8-way power adjustable driver seats.
Additionally, customers can opt for 17-inch alloys, power moonroof, side-view camera, push-start engine and remote start. EX-L trims add auto-dimming rearview mirror and leather-trimmed seats.
Last but certainly not least, the safety features have been upgraded as the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistance systems are standard including new auto beams.
The 2019 Honda Civic will arrive in the US on the 10th of October and is expected to roll into other markets shortly afterwards.
