It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything about the 2019 Ford Focus. Now free from camo, a video has appeared on a popular social media website and is currently doing the rounds teasing fans across the globe what to expect.
The short video clip shows off a new set of headlights with familiar xenon bulbs with an LED L shaped unit splitting the units. It also provides a quick glance at the rear end showing off the spaced out Focus lettering instead of a standard badge along with a rear camera poking out just below. Finally, a brief shot shows off the unique alloy rims coated in performance-ready rubber.
Is this is entry level 2019 Ford Focus?
While constantly rewatching the video, we do believe this to be the ST variant of the model due to the larger rims and enhanced headlight designs, but there are just a few days between now and the official reveal. So sit back and stay tuned.
According to Ford’s head of global markets, Jim Farley, the 2019 Ford Focus will move upmarket and will be sold in lower numbers compared to the current Focus. With that said, supposedly a new range-topping trim will be introduced and is referred to as Vignale and an Active version is also rumoured to be on the table.
With the upscale move, the new Focus could be gunning for other hatches including ones offered by BMW and Mercedes.
As the title suggests, the 2019 Ford Focus will be unveiled in full on the 10th of April 2018.
