2019 Dodge Charger receives minor update and upgraded Hellcat

Not only have Dodge revealed the new 2019 Challenger, but the 2019 Dodge Charger has also arrived on the scene with a handful of upgrades, enhanced Hellcat and more trim levels then one could imagine.

Those looking to upgrade to a 2019 Dodge Charger can choose from no less than seven unique trim levels starting with SXT, GT SXT AWD, R/T, R/T Scat Pack and Hellcat.

Starting with the wild Hellcat, the 2019 variant borrows tech first used by the manic Dodge Challenger Demon. This includes torque reserve, launch assist, After-Run Chiller and line lock.

The 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat also gets a handful of visual enhancements. 20-inch forged alloys are attached to each corner, a new unique front grille with two sizeable air intakes to suck in cool air and a sating black bonnet option.

Which 2019 Dodge Charger is for you?

Sitting one step below the Hellcat is the R/T Scat Pack which happens to receive similar visual enhancements as well as launch assist system and line lock. It can also be had with a set of three-mode Bilstein adaptive dampers. The standard R/T features a lightly refreshed interior and exterior and draws power from a 5.7-litre V8 rated at 370 horsepower.

The SXT AWD similarly receives a mild refresh all around and is complete with a Pentastar V6 producing 300 hp which is sent to all four wheels.

New for 2019 is the Charger GT. Fitted with an identical powertrain to the previously mentioned SXT AWD albeit with unique suspension. It also has Dodge Performance Pages, an 8.4-inch Uconnect system and paddle shifters.

2019 Dodge Charger saloons in all guises will be available towards the end of 2018, which one will you be getting?
