Traditionally, auto manufacturers immediately plaster their test cars with black and white camo to deter onlookers and keep what is coming a secret. Not Aston Martin though, they’ve gone with an eye-catching combination of yellow and black to cover up the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Spotted navigating its way around one of the worlds toughest and iconic racetracks; the Nurburgring, the new V8 Vantage shares some similarities to the Aston Martin DB10 from James Bond.
With a sharp and narrow front end flanked by LED headlights, Aston Martin’s sporty prowess is evident. Around the back, distinct hints of the DB10 are noticeable including slim rear lights and large spoiler mounted to the boot lid. For those dreaming of owning James Bond’s latest Aston Martin, this is a close one can get.
Earlier this year, patent sketches of the upcoming model surfaced and made their way around the net and from what we can see with what’s captured in Germany, the drawings are spot on.
What powers the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
Upon launch, you can expect to find a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 sourced from AMG underneath the bonnet. Rated at 503 horsepower and 696 Nm of torque power will no doubt be sent to the rear axle via an automatic transmission.
Further along the product line, a V12 twin-turbo 5.2-litre engine borrowed from the DB11 could make its way into the next V12 Vantage.
Expect the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage to be uncloaked early 2018.
Dubicars.com has new Aston Martin V8 Vantage and used Aston Martin V8 Vantage for sale in Dubai.
