Shelby and Ford go together like chicken shawarma and pickles, and over the years, the two have collaborated on some of the most powerful American vehicles to date. The two have once again joined forces to produce the 2018 Shelby Ford Raptor and what a beast it is!
Drawing power from a mighty V8 producing 450 horsepower and 691 Nm of torque, which is mightly impressive. Shelby International have their doubts and fixed the issue as the 2018 Shelby Ford Raptor cranks out 525 hp and 827 Nm of torque.
But’s not all about the monumentous amount of power the model produces.
2018 Shelby Ford Raptor means business
Additionally, the beast of a truck is fitted with new two-tier shock absorbing suspension with off-road ready rubber fitted to each corner with eye-catching rims.
Furthermore, a new rear bumper has been fitted with two massive round exhaust pipes sticking out of either side and a centrally mounted tow hook. Its also got two spare tyres bolted into the truck bed, and new guards prominently feature on either side with bold Shelby and Raptor cutouts.
Inside, the beast receives a plush cabin with a Shelby touch including 12’o’clock stripe on the steering wheel, embossed ‘Shelby Raptor’ on the front seats and floor mats and a bespoke plaque on the centre armrest. Everything else looks identical to the standard Raptor.
Limited to 500 units for, the 2018 Shelby Ford Raptor will set back customers back $117,460 or AED 431,454.
Alternatively, customers can also arrange to send their Raptor to the American tuner for a conversion for a cool $49,295 or AED 181,070.
