There’s no doubt; the Range Rover is a popular model across the GCC. No matter what trim, they pop up everywhere usually in white. With current models remaining unchanged for a number of years, 2018 Range Rover SUV’s will debut later this year with mild changes.
Exterior changes include a new front bumper complete with a revised grille and headlights along with updated taillights.
What gets us really excited for the 2018 Range Rover is the interior. Drawing inspiration from the recently announced Velar or is it the other way round? Sticking out immediately is the enlarged central media display which measures in at 10-inches for a crisper picture for all media.
Additionally, the steering wheel is new with slightly redesigned buttons while the rest of the interior that’s in shot remains similar to current Range Rover models.
Below the media screen, you may notice climate control dials have been moved down with individual buttons being completed removed.
Although it’s unclear, 2018 Range Rover SUV’s could ship with an additional screen in select trims. That space could also be used as a docking area for mobile devices with wireless charging options seeing as how popular that option is. Make note, that wireless charging or a secondary screen have been confirmed.
Rumours also have the 2018 Range Rover shipping with a petrol hybrid plug-in setup. Additional, reports suggest the pictured model is the hybrid model.
Range Rover hasn’t confirmed or denied what models of the model will be available for the next generation. We expect all current variants to return including the ultra-luxurious Autobiography, powerful SVR and a combination of the two in the guise of the SVAutobiography.
