It’s finally happening, Kia is actually putting the 2011 GT concept car that we have all been lusting after since then into production. It may look spot on to what we are used to but there is no doubt it will be a stunner and a force to be reckoned with.
Many of you out there may be hoping for a two door version as an alternative to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. That won’t be the case here, as this model is to exclusively have two front doors and two rear suicide doors.

Its actual name remains a mystery and Kia has no intention of telling us what it is at the moment. It looks like we’ll all have to wait until either the Paris Motor or subsequent auto show until it’s launch.
Once it hits the segment, the Kia ‘GT’ will be available in a variety of engines including a turbocharged four-cylinder motor pumping out around 315 horsepower, a diesel motor and a 3.3-litre V6 turbocharged engine with 380 horsepower and that would be in standard trim as Kia are looking at the BMW M4 which results in some minor tweaking to bump the output to around 425 horses.
All power units will power each of the rear wheels and is said to ride similar to other RWD Kia’s current and future models.
Along with its unconfirmed name, no price tag has been revealed either.
