Jeep has lifted the wraps off the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition. Based on the Sahara Wrangler, the more extreme model is ready to scale big red.
Each corner is fitted with 17-inch Low Gloss Black alloys covered in off-road ready rubber; the Moab Edition looks more extreme thanks to a Rubicon bonnet with Moab decals, steel bumpers with removable end caps and premium off-road rock rails.
Additionally, standard features include LED headlights and taillights, black headlight surrounds and tow hooks, and a body-colour matching hardtop roof. The Moab Edition can also be had with Sahara side steps.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition is available in nine exterior colours, including Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, Mojito!, Firecracker Red, Ocean Blue Metallic and Punk’n Metallic.
Moving to the cabin, the Moab Edition gets Leather seats and leather dashboard with contrasting stitching, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with navigation and an Alpine sound system with nine speakers.
As for safety, the desert hungry SUV benefits from rear cross path detection, ParkSense park assist with reverse stop, blind-spot monitoring and ParkView rear camera with dynamic grid lines.
Furthermore, the Moab Edition has a Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system with a two-speed transfer case and Trac-Lok limited-slip rear diff.
As it’s based on the Sahara model, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab Edition is fitted with the same engine, a 3.6-litre V6 engine good for 285 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque connected to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
