After a successful three years in the market and winning the 2016 Middle East Car of The Year, the lightly refreshed 2018 Honda City compact sedan is now on sale across the Emirates.
Outside, the model receives a fresh face inspired by other 2018 Honda’s, honeycomb front grille, LED daytime running lights and effective fog lights for greater visibility during bad weather. A refreshed rear end is complemented with new tail lights, diffuser and bumper.
Inside, the model benefits from a wide range of enhancements including rear a/c vents, increased legroom for all and a lightly refreshed centre console which is more user-friendly.
Honda has also added Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, touch screen infotainment system with an HDMI input and keyless start button to the options list.
Power is drawn from a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol motor mated to a CVT transmission. Rated at 118 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, the 2018 Honda City boasts a 40-litre petrol tank that won’t need to be filled up often.
With Honda implementing a programmed fuel injector system or PGM-FI for short, the compact sedan runs 20 kilometres per one litre of petrol resulting in trips to the fuel station few and far between not to mention light on your bank account.
2018 Honda City models are available right now at your nearest Honda dealer with prices starting at AED 52,900. Honda UAE currently offers six exterior colours; Lunar Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Nocturne Night Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, White Orchid Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic. As for inside, you’ve got two choices; Black or Ivory.
