Immediately sticking out is the Multi-Dimensional front grille. Exclusive to the trim level, either side of the eye-catching grille are HID headlights with GMC signature LED lighting.
And it’s not just a pretty face; the exclusive grille aids airflow to the radiator. Hidden behind are active aero shutters that close to reduce aerodynamic drag and enhance efficiency in certain conditions.
Standard features of the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali include active noise cancellation for a quieter ride, 8-inch central display with navigation, 8-inch customisable driver display, heads-up display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, USB inputs, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats and that’s just inside.
Enlarged 20-inch alloys adorn each corner with optional 22-inch variants, Magnetic Ride Control, Duralife brake rotors, hill start assist, StabiliTrak electronic stability control and hands-free power programmable liftgate.
No changes are made to the engine, with the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali retaining the enormous 6.2-litre V8 venting out 420 horsepower. What is new is the Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic gearbox which increases fuel efficiency at highway speeds.
2018 GMC Yukon Denali SUV’s will go on sale later this year with the XL version rolling on a 35.5cm longer wheelbase allowing for increased rear legroom and cargo space.
