Pictures of the 2018 Cadillac XTS sedan have popped up online revealing a fresh face, redesigned rear end and a multitude of changes inside and underneath the luxury four-door.
Cadillac has also expanded colour and trim options for the interior with the inclusion of Maple Sugar and Jet Black exclusively available for the Platinum trim.
New rim designs are available in 19 and 20-inch diameters which according to Cadillac themselves contribute to improving ride comfort for all.
Inside the 2018 Cadillac XTS, you’ll find the brands latest infotainment system which promises to be more user-friendly, additional personalisation options when bought new and a selection of in-car applications.
Front seats are redesigned with the company claiming they are upgraded to be more comfortable. The rest of the cabin has been fitted with sound insulators to create a quieter ride than the previous model.
Driver assistance options also grow with lane change alert, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking and low-speed automatic braking. The executive sedan can be had with magnetic ride control and rear air levelling.
Base 2018 Cadillac XTS sedans are fitted with a 3.6-litre V6 petrol motor rated at 304 horsepower. Mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, power is driven to the rear end.
Those looking for something a with a hint of sportiness can opt for the XTS Platinum V-Sport with a twin-turbocharged V6 rated at 410 hp with all-wheel drive as standard.
2018 XTS models are scheduled to launch in the coming months.
